These little Christmas party treats are so adorable I just had to share them during our 12 Days of Christmas series! They taste as good as they look and are super easy to whip up before your next holiday party.


Christmas Tree Rice Krispies Treats Recipe

Ingredients and Supplies

8 ct package of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats
10 oz package of Wilton green candy melts

Wilton Jumbo Sprinkles

8 Popsicle sticks
Knife

Directions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the 8 Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats and discard the wrappers.
Use the paring knife to gently slice the sides off the Rice Krispies Treat to form a triangle.

Insert a popsicle stick into the base of each Rice Krispies Treat.
Place the treats on the plate and set in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Pour the Wilton green candy melts into a microwave safe dish. Heat in the microwave in 30 second increments stirring occasionally until melted.
Remove the melted chocolate from the microwave and dip each Rice Krispies treat in the melted candy. Use a spoon to carefully coat each treat and allow the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.

Place the chocolate covered treat on the lined baking sheet and decorate with sprinkles.
Place a star on top of the tree.

Repeat with all 8 Rice Krispies Treats.
