Fall I Spy Printable for Kids
Autumn is one of my favorite seasons to create printable activities for kids: the colors, the cozy vibes, and all those simple moments that make home feel special. This free I Spy Fall Printable is perfect for bringing a little autumn magic to your homeschool mornings or family afternoons!
Whether you’re sipping cider, crunching through leaves, or snuggling up with one of these fantastic autumn inspired storybooks, this free fall printable is an easy way to add seasonal fun to your week.
Use this as a Homeschool or Classroom Activity
It’s fun to launch a season or celebrate a holiday by surprising them with a new printable on the breakfast table to discover when they come into the kitchen, next to their cereal bowl or a mug of hot cocoa. It’s such a special treat!
This October, I’m leaving out our Fall I-Spy pages along with colored pencils and a little bowl of dried apple slices for a cozy morning activity. It keeps little hands busy while I make breakfast, and it’s a calm way to start the day together.
There are two versions included:
- One for younger kids (with simpler shapes and fewer objects)
- One for older kids (with a bit more challenge!)
Perfect for toddlers through 3rd grade (and parents, too, if you want to join in!) so everyone can join in.

How to Use the Free Fall Printable
Simply print the pages and let your kids start searching! Each sheet features familiar autumn items: pumpkins, acorns, apples, leaves, pinecones, and other cozy fall favorites.
Simply print them out and let the kids have fun!
Bonus tip: laminate the sheets and use a dry erase marker for reusable fun or slide them into plastic sheets for the same effect!
Expanding the Learning
Want to turn your I-Spy into more than a game? Here are some easy ways to extend the activity:
- Count & Compare: “Which item can you find the most of?” “Which one has the fewest?”
- Color & Sort: Sort by fall colors. “How many yellow items did you find?”
- Write & Describe: Have older kids write a few sentences about their favorite fall symbol or a story about the I-Spy scene.
- Story Starter: “Imagine you found all these fall treasures on a walk. What happens next?”
Little activities like this help build attention, vocabulary, and observation skills all while keeping things lighthearted and fun.
