Simple Snowmen Treats for a Frosty the Snowman Movie Night
If you’ve spent time on my blog you know I’m working towards a more simple way to do things so I can enjoy more time with my family. I’m trying to take the stress out of household management by doing easy projects with my kids, getting organized at home, and taking time for myself to craft and create. One way my family spends time together is with family movie nights. I’m sharing a simple treat your kids can make themselves while you set up to watch Frosty the Snowman together this holiday season. So grab those cozy blankets and the supplies below to get started with your own special family night.
Supplies
- Medium marshmallows
- Pretzel sticks
- Cake pop sticks
- Optional-Frosting and candy
Directions
I wasn’t kidding when I said this is a super simple holiday treat for kids to put together.
All they have to do is push three marshmallows on the cake pop stick and add pretzels for arms.
If you’d like to add a little more time to the activity use frosting to stick on candy buttons, licorice for a smiling mouth, or dip them in melted peppermint chocolate and refrigerate them until the chocolate has hardened.
Serve with a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy your movie!
It may be easy but kids would love this! Perfect activity with cocoa.
Thanks! I’m loving simple crafts and recipes this year.
Very cute, great for a hot chocolate bar! Thanks for sharing.
This is a fun way to add marshmallows to cocoa. My youngest is a teen and she would love adding snowman marshmallows to her cocoa.
Such a fun way to add some cuteness to hot cocoa. My youngest daughter would love making these for her cocoa.
Simple can clearly still be highly creative! I love your cocoa marshmallow snowman!
