Ingredients and Supplies
12 cupcakes made with white cake mix
Green food coloring
Oreo cookies
Vanilla Frosting
Wilton Gold Food Color Spray (available at craft stores on the baking aisle)
Lucky Charms Cereal
Directions
Preheat your oven to the temperature instructed on the box for cupcakes. Next, line a 12 cup cupcake pan with cupcake liners. Prepare the cake mix according to directions, mixing in green food coloring until the batter is completely green. Pour the cake mix into the cupcake liners in the pan. Check the cake mix box for baking time, usually it’s around 15 minutes.
Let the cupcakes cool before decorating. Frost the top of the cupcakes with a vanilla frosting of your choice.
Golden Oreo Cookie Cupcake Toppers
Lay down 12 Oreo cookies on a piece of parchment paper. Spray them with the Gold Wilton Food Spray, making sure to cover both sides of the cookie. Let the gold coloring dry. Sprinkle the cupcakes with Lucky Charms marshmallows and top each one with a golden Oreo coin.
